Price per 1,000
The standard unit of pricing in this market: what 1,000 units of a service cost. It is the only figure that compares cleanly across panels.
Panels quote almost everything per thousand — $0.42 per 1,000 followers, $0.08 per 1,000 views. It is the market's unit of account.
It is also the only number that survives comparison, which is why every figure in our price index is normalised to it. A panel quoting a bundle price or a minimum-order price is, intentionally or not, making itself hard to compare.
What the unit does not tell you is what arrives, or when. A cheap price per 1,000 attached to a slow or partial delivery is not cheap. This is the entire reason we time orders as well as price them.
